Watch out… shenanigans are afoot on this fine April Fool’s Day. From memes to satirical news to pranks in the workspace, the first of April is a celebrated day of buffoonery.
While we’re laughing ourselves into Spring, we want to take a moment and celebrate another source of joy, as cheesy as this might sound: your dreams. Or even more specifically, your ambitions.
We rarely accomplish a lifelong goal without a vision, an inspiration, a desire to pursue it. Life is always throwing those curveballs too, delaying or sidetracking with unexpected changes, or sometimes we just fall into the monotonous flow of the rat race and lose sight of that fulfilling vision of our future we once had.
We say: dreaming is the furthest from foolish. It’s the first step towards having a rewarding career, a job you want to go to, work you find satisfying. Did one of those delays end up being what feels like a permanent rut? Did a job not work out and you’re not feeling hopeful about what’s next?
