Another day, another dollar!
Even though we all understand a dollar is technically worth a hundred pennies, a dollar might be worth way more to one person than to someone with a lot of disposable income.
For example, when you’re between jobs like the folks we work with – such as someone coming out of the justice system looking to rejoin the workforce, or a military member transitioning out of the service – a dollar feels a bit different than when you’re financially secure.
That’s why we at The ASCEND Collective occasionally ask for a few bucks a month. We know there are folks in between jobs that are seeking economic stability, and we want to continue to be a conduit for people making big, upward moves in the world so that financial stress becomes a part of the past. Not to mention, helping ensure the career is what our candidates want to be doing, that it’s more than a paycheck.
Your donation helps us accomplish this mission. Just five or ten bucks a month sustains this critical care for hundreds of people a year, setting them up for life-long careers and successes.
Thanks for giving.
