For many transitioning service members, veterans, and military spouses, the hardest part of the career journey isn’t motivation or capability — it’s access. Too often, talent is filtered through resumés, job titles, and assumptions that don’t reflect what people can actually do.

That’s why we built Vanguard Rising.

Vanguard Rising is an Experiential Applied Learning Lab designed to help military-connected talent move from potential to performance through a skills-first, no-resumé approach. Instead of asking participants to explain their value, we help them demonstrate it — through real-world projects, collaborative team environments, and applied learning aligned to today’s workforce needs.

This isn’t a job board. It’s not classroom-only training. And it’s not about charity or favors.

Vanguard Rising combines:

  • AI-powered skills translation to turn military experience into civilian-ready capabilities
  • Career readiness and confidence-building focused on how work actually happens
  • Hands-on, project-based learning that mirrors real organizational environments
  • Concierge guidance to help participants align their skills, goals, and next steps

Participants graduate with clarity, confidence, and demonstrated experience — prepared to step into opportunity without guesswork.

Who Vanguard Rising Is For

Vanguard Rising is open to:

  • SkillBridge-eligible service members
  • Veterans seeking meaningful civilian careers
  • Military spouses navigating career disruption and mobility

Whether you’re preparing to transition, looking to realign your career, or seeking momentum after a pause, Vanguard Rising is designed to meet you where you are — and help you move forward with purpose.

Why This Matters

Veterans and military spouses are not broken. They are capable, resilient, and skilled. What’s often missing is a system that recognizes those skills and opens the right doors.

Skills-first models like Vanguard Rising change the landscape by focusing on capability over credentials, readiness over resumés, and opportunity over assumptions. When people are prepared before they reach employers, everyone wins.
